The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Ersery. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Every board in the league had Brooks lower, and that gap is the story.

The Jeff Okudah deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
