The Bears answered their biggest question with Williams. Grade: D-.

The Bears lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. Reaching for Bishop left real value on the table behind him.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
