McCord should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Kyle McCord, the No. 125 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 190. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
