A passer of the future in Williams, and a D-, for the Bears.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Bears did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

Caleb Williams is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Reaching for Limmer left real value on the table behind him.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
