There is conviction, and then there is this. The Bears took Aaron Lewis a full 55 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Abrams-Draine value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.
