Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Bears, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Powers-Johnson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. That Wallace pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

In short, a weekend the front office will want to forget in a hurry.
