The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bears and Sainristil: A.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A.

On value alone, Sainristil makes the weekend a net positive. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Dallas Turner and all.
