Bears
Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

FutureB-
The Bears kept it disciplined and banked a B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bears walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Alexander falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick10
Rnd1
Mason Graham
In pick 10 they get a disruptive interior force at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick39
Rnd2
Tyler Booker
Tyler Booker in pick No. 39 is fair value, right on his grade. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick41
Rnd2
Tyleik Williams
Tyleik Williams at the Round 2 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick72
Rnd3
Zy Alexander
Zy Alexander is a better player than the 72nd overall pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
