The phones sank the Bears this weekend: B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Robbie Ouzts in the 240th overall pick. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. On value alone, Bassa makes the weekend a net positive. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
