Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

FutureB-
The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-. The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
They are betting Nourzad proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Caleb Williams
In the Round 1 slot they get the arm they will build around. A real need, handled.
Pick9
Rnd1
Rome Odunze
In slot 9 they get a weapon on the perimeter at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick75
Rnd3
Mike Sainristil
Mike Sainristil in the 75th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick122
Rnd4
Hunter Nourzad
They left a pile of value on the table to take Hunter Nourzad this early at pick 122. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
