Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Joe Milton III, the No. 171 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 204th pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Van Pran left real value on the table behind him.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
