After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Zinter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Marcus Davenport deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
