Somebody in the 79th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Ashton Jeanty, the No. 3 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
