The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bears and Henderson: D+.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with interior defensive lineman and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. If Murphy pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Getting Henderson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
