Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Ollie Gordon II got past him. The Bears do not have to explain a thing at the 244th pick. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They are betting Jackson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
