Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Tahj Brooks, the No. 124 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
