Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Tyler Lockett deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
