A passer of the future in Williams, and a C-, for the Bears.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. If Allen pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

If Caleb Williams and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
