The Bears fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A-. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Delmar Glaze in pick 232.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Corley pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with edge rusher and linebacker open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
