The Bears found their guy under center in Williams: D-.

The Bears clearly saw something nobody else did in Mohamed Kamara, taking him 50 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Whatever Caleb Williams becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Williams at that price is a win they earned.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
