Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

Every board in the league had Gore Jr. lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. Jackson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

In the end it comes back to Jer'Zhan Newton, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
