A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a D weekend for the Bears.

The Bears lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. Reaching for Robinson left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
