Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Baylor Cupp at the Round 7 slot is 186 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on tight end is the choice that costs them.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Brownlee Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
