Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Warren: B. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Tyler Warren got past him. The Bears do not have to explain a thing at the Round 2 slot. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick15
Rnd1
Ashton Jeanty
In the 15th pick they get a featured back, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick39
Rnd2
Tyler Warren
Circle this one: Tyler Warren at the Round 2 slot is a fall that decides a draft. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick41
Rnd2
T.J. Sanders
T.J. Sanders in the 41st overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick46
Rnd2
Xavier Watts
Xavier Watts at pick 46 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick72
Rnd3
Donovan Jackson
A reach on Donovan Jackson in Round 3, Pick 8; the board had better options right there. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
