The Bears robbed the room for Singleton. Final grade: A-.

Somebody in Round 6, Pick 28 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Nicholas Singleton, the No. 103 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Noel has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In the end it comes back to Ashton Jeanty, and a haul good enough to build on right away.

Ashton Jeanty slid further than he should have, and the Round 1 slot is lovely value for the running back. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.

James Pearce Jr. at slot 40 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
