Johnson should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in slot 76 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Kaleb Johnson, the No. 47 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
