A respectable, level-headed haul for the Cardinals: B. The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named quarterback, a need the Cardinals walked right past.
The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Marvin Harrison Jr. at No. 4 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the wide receiver. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick12
Rnd1
Jared Verse
In slot 12 they get a bendy edge with upside. The biggest hole, addressed.
