For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bills walked out of the weekend still thin at linebacker, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The cost of the Key reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Cooper Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
