The Bills put a flag in the ground for Joe Milton III, 56 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

However the rest shakes out, Cowing at that price is a win they earned. The Solomon pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back and tight end. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
