Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesC+ FutureC+
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Bills.

The Bills put a flag in the ground for Vincent Anthony Jr., 48 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

The Singleton Jr. pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with linebacker the one that mattered most. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick33 Rnd2 Kayden McDonald
Kayden McDonald in the 33rd pick is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick55 Rnd2 Kamari Ramsey
Kamari Ramsey at slot 55 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It fills a real need, too.
Pick98 Rnd3 Eric Singleton Jr.
Eric Singleton Jr. at the 98th overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick123 Rnd4 Chris Johnson
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Chris Johnson at No. 123. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick137 Rnd4 Vincent Anthony Jr.
Vincent Anthony Jr. in the Round 4 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick160 Rnd5 Kyle Louis
No drama and no debate, Kyle Louis went about where he belonged in Round 5, Pick 20. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick237 Rnd7 Tristan Leigh
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Tristan Leigh. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick249 Rnd7 A'Marion Peterson
A'Marion Peterson at the Round 7 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. A need, and now a little less of one.
