The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bears and Johnson: B+.

Somebody in the 149th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Tez Johnson, the No. 90 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The veteran additions, Justin Jefferson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
