The Lions clearly saw something nobody else did in Trey Moore, taking him 61 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Wallace III at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They went 4 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
