The move everyone will second-guess came early. The 49ers reached some 166 spots for Nathan Pickering, and value like that does not grow back. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is McGlothern. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
