The Browns spent the pick that matters most on Cam Ward, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Lachey falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

They will need Thornton Jr. to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
