You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Ravens did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It nets out a thoroughly average C.

That Singleton pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Spending an early pick on linebacker with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.
