Start where it matters. The Patriots took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They are betting Steele proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Jones pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
