A passer of the future in McCarthy, and a B, for the Bears.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The McCormick pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The James Bradberry deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
