The Chiefs let Klare fall into their laps, and walked away with a D-.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Chiefs, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

They banked enough surplus on Klare to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
