The Broncos went off the board in a big way for Jacoby Windmon, 114 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Broncos indulged a want in Stover while a need in quarterback stayed open.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left quarterback open, and the grade is the bill.
