Draft Grade — Bears

The Bears bled value on every deal, hence the B. Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. That Hampton pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick12
Rnd1
Will Campbell
In slot 12 they get an anchor for the offensive line. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick39
Rnd2
Omarion Hampton
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Omarion Hampton in the 39th overall pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick76
Rnd3
Mason Taylor
They took Mason Taylor at par in Round 3, Pick 12, which is nothing to complain about. It adds depth where they could use a little.
