Nobody else had Eric Gentry anywhere near Round 6, Pick 33. The Lions did, by 55 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
