The Seahawks turned the phones into found money: B+.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Wesley Williams; the Seahawks did not wait, grabbing him 61 spots ahead at Round 7, Pick 37. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That Ponds pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
