The Bills won the night they stopped Rourke from sliding. Grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bills were there to profit. Kurtis Rourke, the No. 142 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 6, Pick 1.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They will need TeSlaa to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

With linebacker, offensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
