A masterclass at the trade table lands the Bears a B. The Bears ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. The bottom line is a respectable B.
Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Williams value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
