The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Eichenberg.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
