You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bills did exactly that with Dominic Zvada in No. 229. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
