The rest of the league will want that one back. Amarius Mims tumbling to the Lions in slot 62 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Lions had louder needs to answer first. Every board in the league had Solomon lower, and that gap is the story.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
