The Jaguars indulged a want in Smith while a need in safety and linebacker stayed open. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If Smith pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.
