FutureA
A solid, sensible weekend for the Giants: B. The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named interior defensive lineman, a need the Giants walked right past. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Adding Alex Highsmith by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick20
Rnd1
Chris Brazzell II
In No. 20 they get a No. 1 receiver at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick35
Rnd2
Isaiah World
No edge and no loss on Isaiah World in the 35th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick51
Rnd2
Olaivavega Ioane
Nothing to complain about; Olaivavega Ioane went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
