A passer of the future in Daniels, and a A, for the Bears.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.

Newton at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The cost of the McCaffrey reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jayden Daniels and all.
